Sometimes while staying in a foreign country, its nice to stay where English is spoken and to have someone there who can tell you the ins and outs of the area. Even if your first language isn’t English, sometimes its just nice to stay in a friendly place that feels like home. VIVA Guest House, located just outside of Managua Nicaragua is the home of the owner of VIVA Spanish School in Managua. Just 15 minutes from Managua but a world away, the home consists of about 1/3 acre with a swimming pool, four air-conditioned rooms, hot water showers, wireless internet, cable television and all of the comforts of a typical home in the States.

After renting rooms to students that were studying at the school for two years we decided to open this very comfortable home to the public. An affordable option but with all of the comforts of a hotel, VIVA Guest House is located in the town of Ticuantepe, a suburb of Managua, also the home to the Chocoyero Nature Reserve. The home is surrounded by plantain trees and coconut trees. Volcan Masaya is just a ten-minute drive from the Guest House. One of the safest areas in Nicaragua, Ticuantepe is friendly and guests walk around at anytime, day or night without safety concerns.A world away from Managua, but a short trip to some of the best nitelife around!
Located just off of Caraterra Masaya (Km 14), we are located just 15 minutes from Metrocentro Shopping mall in Managua, 15 minutes from Masaya and about 30 minutes from Granada. Micro-buses pass by the house all day and are a cheap and safe form of transportation in Nicaragua. Taxis are also available.
